The Carol Hamoy Papers chiefly contain the visual artist's documentation of her artwork, correspondence with curators and art institutions, photographs of her artwork, and various publications her work was included in.
This collection contains the administrative papers of the women's art gallery, Center/Gallery. The folders contain the newsletters, calendars, meeting minutes, bylaws, budgets, and grant seeking applications of the organization. A significant portion of the collection contains newspaper clippings, flyers, and advertisements for the various exhibits, workshops, and sales held there. A limited amount of photographs are available for specific events.
Ceres Gallery is a feminist, not-for-profit, alternative gallery located at 47 West 27th Street in New York City, dedicated to the promotion of contemporary women in the arts. These records document the history of the gallery from its foundation in 1984 to 2019 including documentation of the operation of the gallery, individual members, exhibitions, events, and anniversary celebrations.
